I was a pal of John's little brother Scott. John was my older sister's classmate so I knew him somewhat as the "cool big brother". He was a nice guy and I remember that outdoorsy spirit he had, which I think I remember was the fruit of the Boy Scouts' adventures he had when he was a kid. Someone mentioned his voice...very true. John's voice is what I really remember, even now I can "hear" it. My prayers are with his family.
